How to Find
Use /locate structure minecraft:end_city (end ships are attached to end cities). Not all end cities have ships. Look for the ship floating beside the tallest end city tower. Bridge across or use ender pearls to reach it.

Strategy Tips
The elytra is considered one of the most valuable items in Minecraft as it allows the player to glide and, with firework rockets, fly. Only about 50% of end cities have an attached end ship. The elytra is found in an item frame on the ship. The dragon head on the bow opens and closes when powered by redstone.
